ISO 15189
Throughout 26 years of medical service delivery, we have always aimed to continuously improve service and quality for our customers. One of our quality milestones includes ISO 15189 which is an accreditation in international standards in medical laboratories.
On 2nd April 2007, the Laboratory Department at Nonthavej Hospital was certified to the ISO 15189 standard in medical laboratories by the Bureau of Laboratory Quality Standards, Department of Medical Science, Ministry of Public Health. It is the first hospital in Nonthaburi province to receive this accreditation.
The Laboratory Department offers a comprehensive series of tests and services including examination, analysis, result reporting, as well as consultation. With the accredited international standards, you can be sure of a high-quality, fast and accurate service provided by our team of experts 24 hours a day.
With the focus on laboratory quality assurance, the Laboratory Department at Nonthavej Hospital has been participating in quality assurance programmes with external organisations since 1997. From then on, the department has been approved by the Department of Medical Science as a certified lab testing centre for Thai overseas workers. Other standard accreditations include obtaining ISO 9000 in 1999, ISO 9001: 2000 in 2002, and ISO 15189 in 2007.

Good health begins with good nutrition. Although this sounds simple, it is not that easy in practice.
Nonthavej Hospital realises the importance of nutrition and thus aims to improve the quality of nutritious food provided to our customers. Through our continuous development, the hospital received GMP / HACCP accreditation in March 2007
The Nutrition Centre is a unit in Nonthavej Hospital whose primary responsibility includes providing food to our customers. The centre places a great emphasis on nutritional principles and recommendations aligned with nutrition therapy as well as using safe and clean procedures in all food preparation.
Foods we provide include those for general patients, particular patients, young patients, tube feeding patients, health check-up participants, as well as participants in hospital seminars. Due to the primary concern on cleanliness and safety of the food, the centre
has adopted GMP system (GOOD MANUFACTURING PRACTICE) for the control and management of safety in food production, and HACCP system (HAZARD ANALYSIS CRITICAL CONTROL POINT) since April 2006. On 23 March 2007, Nutrition Centre at Nonthavej Hospital received a CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRATION from URS Company.
