Specialized Nutrition Services

  • Therapeutic Diet Services

  • The department provides disease-specific therapeutic diets designed to support treatment and recovery, including but not limited to:
  • • Diabetes-controlled diets
  • • Cardiac and hypertension diets (low sodium, heart-healthy fat modification)
  • • Renal diets with controlled protein, potassium, phosphorus, and sodium
  • • Gastrointestinal diets (soft diet, low-residue diet, easily digestible diet)
  • • Post-operative and recovery diets
  • • Texture-modified diets for patients with chewing or swallowing difficulties
  • Each diet is tailored based on clinical assessment, nutritional requirements, and patient tolerance.
  • Pediatric Nutrition Services

  • Provision of age-appropriate and condition-specific meals for pediatric patients, supporting growth, development, and recovery while promoting acceptance and adequate intake.
  • Enteral Nutrition Support

  • • Management of enteral feeding according to physician prescriptions
  • • Coordination with medical and nursing teams to ensure safe and effective nutritional support
  • • Education and guidance for caregivers on enteral feeding management prior to discharge
  • Clinical Nutrition Counseling

  • • Individualized nutrition counseling for patients with chronic diseases, nutritional deficiencies, or malnutrition risk
