  •  Nutritional therapy for patients receiving gastric balloon or sleeve gastrectomy surgery. Consultation service for patients interested in gastric balloon or gastric bypass surgery (before and after the surgery). Gastric balloon and sleeve gastrectomy are methods to reduce weight. The enlarged balloon minimizes the stomach capacity and reduces your food consumption. However, in the first stage, the patient needs to change his/her eating behavior (i.e. consuming less food). Even with a gastric balloon, if the patient does not change their eating behavior, the weight will not change according to the goal. After removal of the balloon, strict diet control will keep the weight stable.
Early detection of risk of metabolic syndrome

   Metabolic syndrome can be detected early by body mass index (BMI) calculation and body composition analysis by InBody. BMI reflects the relationship between weight and height. At some point, height cannot increase but weight may increase unlimitedly. Excessive weight gain affects your health. It causes high risk of diabetes, dyslipidemia and coronary artery disease. High BMI means excessive body fat which leads to high risk of diabetes, dyslipidemia and coronary artery disease. Efficient and constant weight control needs to identify the exact weight problem, whether it is overweight, underweight or metabolic syndrome. Patients are checked by InBody device to assess their health conditions such as malnutrition, imbalance of minerals and water.

Used devices

   InBody is used to analyze body components. As it immediately provides the results, the patients do not need to refrain from eating and drinking. The results are analyzed to diagnose the disease. InBody analyzes body components as follows;

  • • Intracellular Water
  • • Extracellular Water
  • • Protein
  • • Percent Body Fat (PBF)
Suitable for
